Australian Christian College at Geilston Bay, Hobart is committed to providing students with spiritual, academic, social and physical guidance which assist students in achieving their personal goals.

The school is a co-educational, independent Christian school with grades from Kindergarten to Year 10.

Australian Christian College is known for our inclusive culture, friendly parents and inspiring teachers. The school is a place of connection and belonging.

There are few things as important to the development of a child than his or her education. Children often start with ACC lacking confidence and character. But they leave bright, innovative young people who are ready to tackle the challenges of the world.

Don’t just take our word for it, let one of our team take you on a guided tour of our campus.

Principal - Mr Jared Khu Jared Khu

Jared’s time as a young research agronomist with the NSW Department of Agriculture back in the early 1990s sparked his interest in studying God’s amazing creation. In 2002, in the middle of a drought on mainland Australia, God led Jared into a teaching career by opening the door for him to teach science at a small Christian school in Bourke, far west NSW. Since that time, Jared has taught in a number of locations, including TAFE in Bourke and Brewarrina, China, and as a teacher and later Head of Distance Education at Australian Christian College in Caboolture, Queensland.

He is passionate about reflecting everything through the mirror of God’s Word, and challenging students to fulfil their God-given potential. Jared and his wife have four children and will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary in 2018! They worship at SOUL Presbyterian Church in Hobart, where Jared also serves as an Elder.
